Replacing a grip
(Nighthawk, Raptor & Falcon models)
Step 1:
To remove an existing grip, cut down the front and back spine of the grip until it begins to separate from the shaft. Peel apart and remove.
Step 2:
Ensure the gradient at the bottom of the shaft and grip match before pushing the shaft partly into the grip by hand to start.
Step 3:
Place a cloth on the top of the shaft or hammer head if your hammer has a head attached, for protection. Using a soft face mallet/hammer, drive the remaining tang down into the grip until it fully reaches the top of the tang with NO GAP, you may hear a number of clicks.

Fitting a new head
(Nighthawk model)
Step 1:
Align bolt with the threaded hole & turn to engage threads. Turn 3 times clockwise
Step 2:
Seat the shaft into the head with a soft face mallet
Step 3:
Tighten bolt fully with allen key & torque to 40nm

Brass Engineers Centre Punch Set Up
To aid with shipping & for protection of other products during transit, the hardened punch end of this item has been turned inside the brass body of the tool. On receipt:
​
1. Loosen and remove the grub screw. Flip the steel punch the correct way.
2. When replacing the grub screw, ensure the screw sits within the indented section of the steel punch.
3. Re-tighten.
