Returns policy:

We hope you are always satisfied with your purchase, however, we appreciate not everyone will be all of the time. If you have any issues with an order please email us at accounts@kinetic-customs.co.uk and we will always do our best to rectify any problems.

 

If you would prefer to return an item to us, we will accept UNUSED and UNPERSONALISED items within 14 days of receipt. We will inspect your item upon return and issue a refund once we are satisfied that the item has not been used. If your item has been personalised, we will always attempt to rectify any issues you are experiencing before issuing a refund.

 

All returned packages must include your name and original order number. We do not take any responsibility for items returned to us with no accompanying information.

Warranty information (for specified products only): 

Nighthawk Framing Hammer (all editions unless otherwise specified):

We do not issue a written warranty form however, we do wish to assure our customers that we will always do our utmost to deal with reasonable faults or issues experienced with this product within 10 years of purchase.

Nail hammers are designed for use with common unhardened nails only. Any tool struck on the face, side, claws or handle with another hardened object will be considered misuse and will not be considered a reasonable fault or issue. 

General wear and tear is not considered a reasonable fault or issue and, in particular, rubber grips are expected to wear over time and will only be replaced at the discretion of Kinetic Customs. 

Repairs and replacements of tools are monitored and continued use of this service could potentially lead to future repairs being denied. 

In order to make use of this warranty, please email accounts@kinetic-customs.co.uk with details of the fault or issue along with any pictures and your original order number. Please note you may be asked to return your item for repair if necessary. Reasonable faults or issues will be accepted within 10 years of purchase providing proof of purchase (original order number) is provided. Any issue experienced outside of the 10 year cover will be dealt with at the discretion of Kinetic Customs.

Please note if a product or any part of a product has been upgraded or changed since your original purchase, we cannot guarantee that your warranty replacement or repair will be the original model and we may instead replace or repair it with the updated version of any product or part.

Hickory Shaft Products: 

Hickory handles broken due to overstrike will not automatically be replaced or repaired. All replacements are at the discretion of Kinetic Customs and any issues in this regard should be emailed to accounts@kinetic-customs.co.uk

We recommend that hickory handled products are soaked head down overnight in linseed oil regularly to keep the wood moist and avoid any looseness over time, especially in countries with a warm climate.

Raw Products: 

 

Please be aware that raw products can rust if left damp or wet or stored in a damp environment. If you have chosen a raw bodied product, please ensure you dry your tool after use and use a suitable protective coating if necessary. Kinetic Customs takes no responsibility for items that have rusted due to being left in wet or damp conditions or environments.
