IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING RAPTOR PRODUCTS:

Follow these steps to ensure your hammer stays in top condition:

- Periodically check the bolt attaching the hammer head to the handle is torqued to 35NM / 25.8 ft-lb.

- If the bolt does work loose over time, you can apply Loctite blue 242 medium strength thread locking adhesive to bolt and reapply to specified torque settings above.

IF BOLT COMES LOOSE CEASE USING TOOL IMMEDIATELY UNTIL IT IS HAS BEEN TIGHTENED TO THE ABOVE SPECIFICATIONS.

IF BOLT WILL NOT TIGHTEN TO ABOVE SPECIFICATIONS, PLEASE CONTACT US STRAIGHT AWAY - DO NOT CONTINUE TO USE THIS TOOL WITH A LOOSE BOLT. DOING SO IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

- If in time the magnet requires replacement, this can be carefully removed by chipping the old magnet with a small punch. Ensure the hole is cleaned thoroughly once removed then apply a small drop of good quality super glue and carefully tap replacement magnet until it sits at the base of the hole, wiping away any excess glue.

ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GLASSES. MAGNETS CAN BE BRITTLE

We have removed all powdercoating from any striking surface for your ease of use. However, please note this can mean on rare occasions a small amount of surface rust may appear which can be caused by condensation during transport. As with any steel tool, all exposed parts may rust and this can easily be removed with a sanding block. We also recommend periodically coating faces and side cheeks lightly with oil.

Hammer heads are powdercoated to offer the best protection available. However this will wear over time and is not covered under our warranty.

Aluminium Handles should be treated as a replaceable part, like a wooden handled hammer, which means damage may be sustained if consistently subjected to overstrike or heavier than intended use.

The aluminium has been anodised to give the bright colouring, this will mark with use and scratches, scuffs and markings to the handle are considered general wear and tear and will not be covered under warranty.

This hammer is not designed to take excessive amounts of force in the opposite direction of intended use. Claws can be used to pry material apart or as leverage in the direction shown below:

Never strike a hammer face on or with another hardended object, for example, another hammer.

Hardened steel may chip and fly in any direction and can cause serious injury to yourself or anyone else in the vicinity.

Always wear safety glasses when using our tools.

This tool is used at your own risk.

KINETIC CUSTOMS TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR INJURY TO YOURSELF OR OTHERS DUE TO IRRESPONSIBLE USE OF THIS PRODUCT OR WHEN IT HAS NOT BEEN MAINTAINED TO THE ABOVE SPECIFICATIONS.

Returns policy:

We hope you are always satisfied with your purchase, however, we appreciate not everyone will be all of the time. If you have any issues with an order please email us at accounts@kinetic-customs.co.uk and we will always do our best to rectify any problems.

If you would prefer to return an item to us, we will accept UNUSED and UNPERSONALISED items within 14 days of receipt. We will inspect your item upon return and issue a refund once we are satisfied that the item has not been used. If your item has been personalised, we will always attempt to rectify any issues you are experiencing before issuing a refund.

All returned packages must include your name and original order number. We do not take any responsibility for items returned to us with no accompanying information.

Warranty information (for specified products only):

The Raptor Framing Hammer HEAD ONLY

This product (head only) includes a warranty of three (3) years to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. In order to claim against said warranty, proof of original purchase must be provided to Kinetic Customs once any defect is found.

During this period, subject to certain conditions and exceptions, Kinetic Customs will replace, or repair if appropriate, any part which meets warranty criteria and is confirmed by Kinetic Customs to be defective.

This warranty does NOT apply to any part or item damaged in any way which Kinetic Customs determines to be misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, or repairs made and attempted by any other party than Kinetic Customs.

Nail hammers are designed for use with common unhardened nails only. The intended use of this product is for framing work. Any tool struck on the face, side, claws or handle with another hardened object will be considered misuse and will not be considered a reasonable fault or issue.

If a full replacement of any part or product is appropriate and the claim meets warranty criteria, Kinetic Customs may replace the part or product with any new or updated version of said part or product.

The Raptor Framing hammer HANDLE ONLY

This product (handle only) includes a warranty of one (1) years to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. In order to claim against said warranty, proof of original purchase must be provided to Kinetic Customs once any defect is found.

Please note, this modular part is intended to be a replaceable part, much like a wooden handled framing hammer and may wear over time & with extended use. This part is not intended to be subjected to consistent overstrike and damage that occurs due to regular overstrike may not be included in this warranty. Claims outside of this time period of one (1) years will be at the discretion of Kinetic Customs.

Hickory Shaft Products:

Hickory handles broken due to overstrike will not automatically be replaced or repaired. All replacements are at the discretion of Kinetic Customs and any issues in this regard should be emailed to accounts@kinetic-customs.co.uk

We recommend that hickory handled products are soaked head down overnight in linseed oil regularly to keep the wood moist and avoid any looseness over time, especially in countries with a warm climate.

Raw Products:

Please be aware that raw products can rust if left damp or wet or stored in a damp environment. If you have chosen a raw bodied product, please ensure you dry your tool after use and use a suitable protective coating if necessary. Kinetic Customs takes no responsibility for items that have rusted due to being left in wet or damp conditions or environments.
